How to Get Moksha in Kaliyuga ?
Moksha is the ultimate Goal of our Human life.In human life everyone should strive to attain Moksha.This is the best and easiest Yuga to attain Moksha.By attaining Moksha one becomes free from the cycle of Life and Birth and one never comes back to this material world.
There are four Yugas according to our Hindu Religion.They are:-
1.Satyug
2.Treta Yug
3.Dvapara Yug
4.Kaliyug
If asked a question to you,which is the best yuga out of these four,many will answer any of the yugas from the first three.But here I will tell you what Rishi Ved Vyas told the answer to this Question.According to Rishi Ved Vyas the best Yuga is Kali yuga.Now here many will say how this is possible,Kaliyug is the worst Yuga,characteristics of Kaliyuga are worst as compared to other Yuga and so on.Yes you are Right Kaliyug is having many worst characteristics as compared to other three,but the one best thing in Kaliyug is it is the most simplest Yuga to attain Moksha and this the reason why Rishi Ved Vyas also told that Kaliyug is the best Yuga.
According to Bhagavad Gita:
kaler dosha-nidhe rajann
asti hy eko maha gunah
kirtanad eva krishnasya
mukta-sangah param vrajet
Meaning:-“Although Kali-yuga is an ocean of faults, there is still one good quality about this age: simply by chanting the names of Krishna, one can become free from material bondage and be promoted to the transcendental kingdom.”
Lord Krishna says, "since the yuga is going to be the toughest one for the species, the road to salvation has also become simpler".
There are many types of Moksha about which we will be speaking in the next post.And as chanting the names of God in Kaliyuga helps you to attain Moksha,you can chant the holy names anyway,but the best mantra to attain moksha is in Kaliyug is the Hare Krishna Mahamantra which contains only the Holy Names of the Lord :-
"Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare Hare"
Whatever result can be obtained by Meditating on Lord in Satya Yuga,in Treta Yuga by Performing sacrifices and in Dwapara Yuga by serving Lord's Lotus feet ,the same result can be obtained in Kaliyug by just chanting the Holy names of the Lord.
For Kaliyuga just remember“Harer nama harer nama harer namaiva kevalam Kalau nasty eva nasty eva nasty eva gatir anyatha" i.e Simply chant Hare Krishna. There is no other alternative.
