The Jagannath Temple is one of the important,major and most prominent temple of Lord Vishnu.
It is one of the Char Dham Pilgrimage site in India.According to the story,King Indradyumn built this temple on the Command of Lord Vishnu and Guidance of Lord Vishnu and Hanuman ji.This Temple is well known for its Rath Yatra.Do you know that many Muslim kings attacked this temple but they couldn't do a single destruction to the Idols of the Lord.Every time the Temple Preists saved the idols of the temple.There could be many reasons but this is also a reason that people of other religions i.e people who are not Hindus they are not allowed inside this temple.Only people of Hindu religion can enter this temple.

1.The Temple Flag
Did you know that the Flag of the Jagannath Temple flies opposite to the Direction of the Wind.This situation brings Scientific reasoning to a halt and science has no logical reason to give answer to this situation.
2.The Sudarshan Chakra
The chakra is actually 20 ft high and weighs a ton. It is fitted on top of the temple. But what is interesting about this chakra is that, you can see this chakra from any corner of the Puri city. The engineering mystery behind the placing and positioning of chakra is still a mystery because irrespective of your position, you can always feel that the chakra is facing toward you.
3.No planes and birds fly above the temple
You will be surprised to know that till date no planes and birds have flew above the Jagannath Temple.This is a very rare thing that we can see.It is a no-fly zone,but this no-fly zone has not been declared by any Government.I think it has been declared by the Lord only i.e its Lord's wish according to me.

The Jagannth temple has four entryways, and Singhadwaram is the principal entryway of access to the sanctuary. While you enter through Sindhadwaram, you can plainly hear the sound of waves, however when you passed the Singhadwaram, basically go for a turn and stroll back in a similar heading, you will never again hear the sound of waves. Nothing goes wasted in Jagannath Temple. Depending on the day, records state that 2,000 to 20,000 devotees visit the temple. But, the quantity of prasadam, which is cooked in the temple, remains the same throughout the year. Yet, the prasadam never get wasted or is insufficient in any given day.
8.The Cooking Technique of Prasad of Temple
Pots are actually used to cook this special delicacy using firewood. 7 pots are used for this and they are placed one on top of another. Interesting to note here is that the contents of the topmost pot gets cooked first, followed by the bottom pots.
