There are generally three types of gender in this world i.e the Male,Female and Custom.If you have some what Knowledge of Hinduism,you all may be knowing according to Hinduism i.e The Sanatan Dharma we get our next birth according to our deeds(Karma).If we do Good things in this birth and acheive a lot of punya then its possible that you may get a good birth in next life maybe any human birth or even you may become a devta in swarg.But in all these there may be a confusion in your mind that if we do good deeds and we get a human birth in next life then will be we male or a female?On what criteria its decided?So come on, Lets explore into this topic and also see what Lord Krishna has told about this.Actually Shri Krishna has already told answer to our question in Shrimad Bhagavad Gita
Actually in 8th Adhyay in the 6th Shlok Lord Krishna says,
यं यं वापि स्मरन्à¤ावं त्यजत्यन्ते कलेवरम् |
तं तमेवैति कौन्तेय सदा तद्à¤ावà¤ावित: || 6||
Translation-Whatever one remembers upon giving up the body at the time of death, O son of Kunti, one attains that state, being always absorbed in such contemplation.
So according to the above shlok,we can say that if we think of woman at the time of birth ,then we will become woman in next birth.So what do you think if any person has done so much Bhakti of Lord and he deserves Moksha,but he remembers his mother or any other woman at the time of birth then he will become woman?If your answer is yes,then you are wrong.If your answer is yes,then I will say you have not actually understood what Shri Krishna said here.
Shri Krishna here says that whatever karma do whole the whole Life,according to that only you will remember anything at the time of your death.That is if anyone does bhakti in his whole life and he is purely devoted to God,then God will only come to his remembrance at the time of his death and that person will attain Moksha.
Some people say that Birth of a woman is because of our Paap(Bad) Karmas.But this statement is totally Wrong.Getting Birth of a woman cannot be any result of paap karma.In Hindu religion,Womans are considered to be worshippable.
So now I think you may have got Answer to your question.If any person is thinking that he will do bad karmas the whole life and at the end of life he will remember God and attain Moksha,then it's impossible.Because such types of persons will only remember their paap(Bad) Karmas at the time of their death.
